Wade Kapszukiewicz was sworn in as Lucas County Treasurer on September 5, 2005, after being elected to the position in November 2004. He was then re-elected in 2008 and 2012.

Mr. Kapszukiewicz is the Chairman for the Lucas County Land Reutilization Corporation (or Land Bank), a community improvement corporation designed to strengthen neighborhoods in Lucas County by returning vacant and abandoned properties to productive use.

Wade Kapszukiewicz
Wade Kapszukiewicz has been a public official since winning election to the County School Board in 1995 at the age of 23. Before being elected Treasurer in 2004, he was appointed to Toledo City Council in January 1999 and was re-elected in 1999, 2001, and 2003. Wade graduated as valedictorian from Marquette University in 1994 and earned a masters degree in public policy from the University of Michigan in 1996. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Toledo and have two children, Emma and Will.
